Our horizontal silos we have on numerous projects brought successfully used. However, we have received many inquiries from customers with special needs, in which the conditions are sometimes complex and very difficult.

At a tunnel project there are mostly conventional, vertical silos positioned next to the tunnel. With vertical silos there are no possibility to transport the stored cement direct to the mixing system in the tunnel. On special request, NISBAU have developed a mobile, horizontal silo, which ensures easy and fast supply for the mixing system inside a tunnel.

Through many years of experience with horizontal silos and binder materials handling, we were able to satisfy our customer requirements and to conceptualize an efficient and felxible system. This revolutionized the entire cement logistics in tunneling. In addition to significant cost savings in logistics and labor also huge resources are exposed. Horizontal silos in combination with a pneumatic conveying system allows a just-in-time production at the same time it guarantees a constant and efficient supply of cement.

Among them are corporate customers who operate a variety of concrete structures. By today's changing times and the different types of binders which are available on the market, there are locations where no permits are obtained for stationary, vertical silo.
